Our art pieces enable and elevate VERDI’s creative process by granting it emotional ingenuity and freedom. Under the creative direction of Tomás Vera, our design lab and design teams are constantly experimenting with traditional techniques and rare materials. Through a connection with craft, Tomás envisions unique, conceptual, hand-woven pieces for design galleries and collectors. The process behind each of these pieces is an always personal and poetic endeavour; an intimate reflection of an artist’s mood and our country’s symbolism.

MACORINA

“La Hamaca,” with more than 8,000 hand- made knots and a silk-feather outwear, is a pendulum-type sculpture that subtly transforms into a hammock just as Colombia’s flamboyant peacock transforms when it opens its feathers.
