In the Andean regions of Colombia, we find a natural fiber that grows in the leaves of the plant Fucracea Andina. The Pre-Colombian inhabitants extracted and used the fibers for several centuries before the arrival of spanish conquerors to make garments, ropes hammocks and many other articles. A rug is only as good as the fiber it is woven from. This is where the magic starts.
